As an associate at EGA, I am committed to supporting inclusiveness, diversity and excellence in the state education system. I am a Professor of Cultural Studies at the University of East London, where I work with many students who are the first in their families to go to university. I am the author of three books that chart the history of New York music and art culture during the 1970s and 1980s.
